I know it is still summer, however, because of a recent
shopping trip at Bluewater I ended up purchasing some winter items, giving this
blog post somewhat of a wintery feel, sorry. While in Bluewater I also
discovered the wonderful world of Forever 21! Okay confession, I have come
across the fabulous shop before in Amsterdam but didn't buy anything, so this
was my first real time shopping there. I was impressed with the dupes they had
of many Topshop items but for half the price! One of them being this black
Fedora hat which cost me a mere £7! I also got a few other things from there
which I might feature in a separate post if that interests any of you.
But, back to this outfit; the Boyfriend jacket was
something I spotted in my local Topshop and I instantly fell in love with it. I
would say the price was reasonable for something I will be wearing religiously
this winter.
The babydoll style dress was something I picked up in the
Topshop sale, and despite being "very short" (my mother's words) I
thought it would be okay with this coat and some chunky knit tights, for when
it gets colder here in the England, which is guaranteed!
The Chelsea boots are also a Topshop item, but these are
from last winter and they are very durable and look good which thick socks.
Finally, the tartan scarf! I am in love with this scarf and
I know that last winter was when they really came back in again and everyone
was getting them. I found this blue and green one from a local jumble sale I
went to and it cost me something like 10p! I also have another one with red,
white and blue in and it's also bigger; so I can wrap it round my neck, etc.
You may have also realised from the effects on these
photos, that I have discovered VSCOcam. I absolutely love the look it gives my
photos and I will continue to use it daily. If you haven't got it as a photo
editing app then be sure to do so as its 100% free!
Hope you enjoyed this as a post, even though it's set in
the wrong season!
Although I will be away for the Christmas period, I sure am
looking forward to the winter trends. As always I love seeing everyone else's
style of clothing as it gives me inspiration and ideas for my own.
See yal soon,
