Gosh, my lack of blogging is embarrassing and I apologise for that; it just seems I haven't been able to fit any time in to do so. However, I'm back from Spain now so the regularity should pick up again soon.
Spain was amazingggg, I absolutely loved it! I mean going to sunny country abroad with your best friend, what more can you ask for?! The weather was soo good over there and pool was lush as. I must say returning to England, which has had quite a bit of rain since I've been back, was sad and we did have the holiday blues. But I've got a few nice things planned for the rest of the holidays, so all good.
This is a bit of a random post but I just thought I would include some of my recent favourites as it is the holidays and I've been listening, watching new things, etc.
First things first: SUMMER TUNES
I've been loving Becky Hill (her song Caution to the Wind is just wow!) and Sam Smith recently but also a bit of Calvin Harris' Summer, to get into the holiday spirit. While on holiday my bestie and I jammed to Tiesto' Wasted, its perfect for those crazy hyper moments.
Now for my black nails; Ted Baker is a god.
For my actual holiday I wore a coral orange (Rimmel London) on my finger and toe nails but being a typical bargain nail varnish they all chipped and I just had to remove it. So I've gone for the exciting summer colour of... BLACK. No, but seriously the Ted Baker nail varnish that I used applies so easily and gives a gorgeous finish. Would 100% recommend!
Then came along one of my favourite series: Skins
I'm loving skins at the moment; I had never watched it when it was actually on TV but I've now discovered it on 4oD and I'm hooked. I'm loving, along with many other Skins fans, Effy. I just love her mysterious character and how, slowly you start to understand her more as the series' go on.
And then last but not least; some Spanish souvenirs!
I only have one of the items I purchased in Spain (overall I didn't buy that much, just a few little things). But anyway, here's a little ring I bought from a traditional EspaƱa shop, I think it's so pretty and will look lovely with a few other rings; and it only cost me €3! Along with this ring I just got two other bracelets, some anklets and a top. Ooo and also Amber and I got matching hair braids at a market; it just had to be done!
Hope you enjoyed some of my recent favourites and would love to know your current favs. Also again, I'm sorry for my absence but I'm back now and shall be re-attempting to blog more.
See yal soon,
Jess x
